Jealousy Video now online

The Jealousy video is now available to watch at youtube.com.
It is taken from Wasted Youth's Survivors DVD that is available from the Bridgehouse online shop.

The video of Wasted Youth performing Jealousy was filmed in 1979 in Aldgate by the Videoactive collective, which i was part of. We also made videos of Europa Lula, Snips and Zeit Geist but these appear to be lost.

It was filmed  using 3 black & white video cameras.
Sections were mixed live onto u-matic tape and then edited together to make one piece.
The sepia colour was added during the edit.

If you watch carefully, you can see fag ends glowing in the background of some of the shots.
The rest of the band thought they were out of shot.

      Saw their last gig on 6th December 1982 at The Venue in London. Me and a mate bunked out of school and had to take a train from Oxford. It was worth it. Got back after midnight. Rebels without a cause!

      Wow, colour me surprised to see WY on Youtube, I've got all the albums on both LP and the fairly recent CD re-issues, and I saw them on their final show ever at the Venue. You gotta love a band that sings "I Wish I Was A Girl"!
