The Ronnie Lane live album may have been the original Majic Mijits album released with 2 cd's

Disc One (studio)

Chicken (If The Cap Fits)
Last Tango in NATO
Toe Rag
That's The Way It Goes
How Does It Feel
You Spent It
Bomber's Moon
Birthday Girl
Ruby Jack
Lonely No More
Son of Stanley Lane
Be The One

Disc Two (Live Possibly Bridgehouse 01/09/1981 - Initial Pressing Only)

Green Chicken
Play It To NATO
Toe Rag (Instrumental)
Two Black Eyes & A Broken Nose
Shut Your Mouth
You Spent It (Instrumental)
Bombers Moon
Birthday Girl
Ruby Jack
Lonely No More (Instrumental)
Son of Stan (Instrumental)
Beguine

Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane got back together in 1981. Steve flew back from Atlanta, Georgia, to play a one-off gig with Ronnie at the Bridgehouse pub in East London. The gig on 1st September included the band Blind Drunk with old mates Jim Leverton on bass, Mick Green of the Pirates on guitar, Mick "Wynder K Frog" Weaver on keyboards, and Dave Hynes on drums. Sam Brown, daughter of Joe joined on backing vocals.

This line-up recorded an album of material at Ronnie's mobile studio under the working title of The Majic Mijits, aka The Mijits Strike Back. There are a number of surviving cassettes and these show the tracks have a pub rock feel with Steve and Ronnie taking their share of the lead vocals

Colin Mc Faull is the vocalist for CockSParrer but it's their drummer, Steve Bruce, who's written the book which should be on sale soon  Smiley

Talking about punk books, I have been sent a draft for a new book that is coming out called the A to Z of punk. We (Erazerhead) have the honour of being the E. Not Eater or the Exploited but little old us! The main write up is from a gig at the Bridge and is interesting as the guy was not a local, and he found the whole experience intimidating.
If someone can tell me how I will add a link to the chapter about us. I cant find an attach option.

Hi Lee,

The attach function is in additional options when you hit reply.

Not sure if you might be breaking copyright by uploading the chapter.

Maybe just copy and paste an excerpt.

Spoke to the author of the book and he has been advised not to allow anything onto the internet until the publishing deal is sorted. Will stick it on asap.
