Rat Scabies at he Bridge house he was the founded member of The Dammed also playing for me in the white cats,and when captain Sensible went solo he played for us with him also.T.M

JIM HUNTER started at the Bridge house with Slowbone, always fronted the going down hill blues band and a regular at all the Jam sessions

Here is a band we were pleased to get to play at the Bridge,
Bob England who managed Chas n Dave also managed the Darts
who were in the Charts when they played for me,So a couple of Drinks later.
he agreed they could play,
Lee Dury,, Erazerhead refused to do the support slot,wonder why?

Strangly enough, I rember that gig - early evening - on their way to playing at the Circus Tavern if I remember correctly(although I stand to be corrected if anyone else admits to being there!)

A complete change to the music we normally went to hear - a laugh though

Here is a picture i have discovered,i wanted this in the book,but could not find it,
Its about 1 oclock in the morning ,Gerry McAvoy phone coming back from a tour with Rory
they wanted to come for a drink,the blues band had played this night ,so i told Paul Jones Rory and Gerry were coming down, this would be about 11.30,after they had finished.He said he would wait he wanted to talk to Rory, Lee Hart (ROLL UPS)on the left.A barmaid, Terry M And Paul, Jones at the back good friend a young Mickie Boyton can be seen T.M

Hello Terry, I actually paid to see the Darts play back in 78 at a big hall in London. When we were asked to support them at the bridge it just didnt seem right for us if you know what I mean.
Its weird because as I am sitting here (on Il St Louis?) in Paris someone is playing a saxophone in one of the adjoining appts. First time ive heard it and it started as I did so to speak!

Another sad lose for a Bridge house regular Mark Cooper,and his wife Ann,he passed away last week we buried him yesterday,he was a good freind of Dennis Stratton and Dave Edwards,also a best friend of my Nephew John Murphy,R.I.P Mark.
he was a good supporter of all the Bridge house reunions here is a picture taken by Jeff Ellis ,at the reunion in Wathamstow in 2002 .
