Well Baztac.looks like the answer is no, to your request.I do not know, how old you are ,but punk music was at it height in 1977,beginning in late 1976.so if it was a punk single it would have been around that time,
hope you get some helpful replies.T.M

Well that "The Secret - Cafe De Dance"  can be one of a really hard to get item, depending on the obscurity of the label.

Some time ago I've tracked a band called The Secret that was kind of punk from Arista Records. They had some releases, being the earliest single 'The Young Ones', from 1977.

Micky Modern, Pete Robinson, Benny Leopard, Billy Evans, Peter Phips - it should be interesting knowing from Murray if he played with those guys.

Take a look on this page:

I have the Young Ones single by the band the Secret that Lira mentioned. In 77 we bought nearly anything that came out with a picture cover. I remember being dissapointed and not playing it more than twice. What is the purpose of all this searching?

Hi Lee,
Knowing your fondness for Iron Maiden Wink I am sure you would be keen to know that Dave Murray (Maiden guitarist) features on the Cafe De Dance single.

By the way it is great to read your stories on the memories page, looking forward to the next one.
All the Best
