Been lurking a while now used to go to the BH from 1978 onwards. knew John McCready well.  i remember The Tickets gig in Plaistow poly at the Greengate.
Went to the Cocs gig - used to be in the Ants/Martian Dance crew. Can't believe how long ago it all was.

A Wasted Youth memory that not many will have experienced due to the bands super cool image.
When Rocco first joined the band, they all had  really long fringes and I jokingly said you lot look like old hippies from the front. They plastered their hair down on their foreheads and dragged a centre parting and made really stupid, pre Neil hippy faces. It was hilarious and whenever we were on the way to a gig I would shout hippies, and they would do the pose! It was never carried out in public.
We had some good times in the early days.
