Hi Roy

Glad to hear that you will be travelling down for this gig.  The other two bands on the show are real quality also.  "Gundogs" are making a real noise at the moment, and catching a lot of attention (not suprising when you see the two girls who front the band), and "Templeton Pek" look set for a bigger future, they are apparently in the current edition of "Kerrang".

It is a great night of young hopeful talent which carries in the Bridge House tradition which we very much want to follow.

We have some upcoming shows which may be of interest to those who used to frequented the original venue. We call these evenings "Bridge House Gold".

Last Thursday of each month "Remus Down Boulevard" next gig is Thursday 25th Sept.

Friday 26th Sept: That Legendary Wooden Lion featuring Roy Weard formerly of "Dogwatch" and "The Last Post"

Sun 9th Oct: "A concert for Jimmy" a charity concert to raise money to help with medical costs for former Frank Zappa band member "Jimmy Carl Black.

Friday 14th Nov: That Legendary Wooden Lion (as above)

Sat 15th Nov: The Jackie Lynton Band + Support

Sat 22nd Nov: Stan Webbs Chicken Shack + Support

Dave Edwards also features in a couple of shows here with "Uncle Sam" on
Friday 24th October, and again on Friday 12th September.

More info can be found at www.bh2live.com

Always very pleasing to meet and chat to people who knew the original venue.  You are always more than welcome.

good to see you at your venue last Friday,it is a very intimate comfortable place to listen to our favourite bands the improvements you have made are remarkable, another bonus plenty of free parking in Bidder st,.

Well what about that Tony,NO its not because you stock up with all the Bridge House Record products,or because your prices are Cheaper than our shop on the web site,I just had a e.mail saying they will get the Dave Edwards Legends CD when R.D.B Play 23rd December. They are saving £2.00 PP and Get Dave to autograph it.oh well cant win them all.good luck Tony.
PS .sold 3 of the new Bridge house T.Shirts, perhaps you should have put the Date when we recorded the Live a week @ the Bridge Album on the advert on the back,at the time we called it the April Album, but the Logo on the front says it all was you there in 1978?T.M
