Terry,

You may already know this (I haven't seen it posted) but just to let you know there is a review of the book in this month's  Record Collector (November - Joy Division on the cover). It's quite good "very enjoyable", 3 stars out of five plus it has photo of the cover so there you are looking very handsome on page 111 of the mag.

got my old thinking head on,about writing another book,i have written one  that is not published yet about my boxing career and what we got up to ,in the nightclubs, and life in general, including 20 years as a record pressing plant director,Now that is completed,I am researching if it would be worth doing another book on the Bridge house,,i would  like all of you to give me your thoughts on this matter,.with the help of Bastac  and oggy i am getting together as many dates as possible, Bastac has got all the 1979 dates.,so thats a big start,i have many other pictures and reviews, that were not in the Bridge House Canning Town book.and all the secrets i left out of that book, might call it the Whole Truth, about the Bridge. You Know during the war 1939  till the 1950s it was a kind of money changing exchange ,and the foriegn Sailors were really ripped of,when they changed there money for drinks,if that wasnt enough, the prostitues would get there money,i have also heard there had ben murders commited there,it was a den of eniquty, well was it or not ,this we would have to find out?T.M

Interesting TErry. So it will be kind of a... Bridge House Begins?  Cool I see you passing through corridors and rooms of the past trying to remove some webs and capture every buried source you may find.

I'm thinking if you create a site/blog apart of the Bridge site but at the same time focused only on this project, serving as a diary to get us acompanying the development of the ideas and the upcoming dates. Then link it to the BH site.

Just an idea...

Yes i see your point Lira, this was the idea when me and Jeff formed the Forum.but we are not sure it has worked, because unless they are buying from the shop, the members go straight onto the forum.
and neglect the web sit so in theory we now have 2 web sites,so if we started another, then it might affect the forum,or Web,thanks for your advice i will run it past Jeff next MondayT.M Hope you are well

Just a quick note,i have had a few enquiries, as to the front cover of the book, perhaps i should not answer because the question is what is the names of the musicians on the cover.to ask this means they have not bought the book. They know the, famous 3 in the front are Gerry McAvoy (Nine below zero.), Paul Jones (Blues Band) and Chris Thompson,Solo Star and ex Manfred Mann vocalist),and of course Me in the middle, right of me is Geoff,Peters (Roll ups) and Left of me ,left as you look at the book are the Merton Parka`s,the Talbot brothers ,Danny Talbot joined the Syle Council,Paul Wellers band,i will try to find the picture and post it,T.M
